We have made the case in the past that Trump is actually a Lefty in disguise. He just keeps piling up victories that any Leftist would celebrate if they were won by anyone but Trump. Yet, ever lacking true principles, The Left refuses to support those victories and instead finds ways to abandon their own causes (like electric vehicles) in an almost religious (if not cultish) faith that Trump can do nothing good. Perhaps our appeal to the Lefties out there that this Trump administration (which is loaded with former Democrats) is actually super moderate (if not even liberal-leaning) was not substantial enough. But we have new evidence! And this evidence comes in the most powerful form possible: PUPPIES AND KITTENS!!
Today we are spotlighting a story brought to us by the great Glenn Greenwald via his May 5, 2025 show, System Update, which you can view on here on Rumble, in which he interviews Justin Goodman of the medical watchdog group White Coat Waste Project.
Let us start with this Justin Goodman quote from the interview:
“President Trump, to his credit, and he doesn’t certainly get enough credit for this and a lot of people don’t know this, is that I would argue that the first Trump administration made more progress to end animal testing than any other administration in history. If you look at USDA, we exposed the largest cat lab there, Trump shut it down. They shut down dog and cat testing at the VA. They shut down nicotine tests on primates at the FDA and sent all the primates to a sanctuary in Florida. They retired cats from the USDA, some of them live with our president now. There was a lot of great progress.”
For a little perspective on the sadistic nature of some of the research, Mr. Goodman provides the following story:
“There was a guy at the USDA who ran the largest cat lab, the one we exposed. They were flying to the wet markets in China, buying dog and cat meat, flying it back to the USDA, breeding kittens and then force-feeding the kittens this cat meat in cannibalism experiments. They were doing this for decades. It cost $22 million. They killed thousands and thousands of kittens that they were breeding there. They put this guy in the USDA hall of fame. So there’s incredibly perverse incentives for this community and biomedical research to torture animals because you’re heralded for it, you’re rewarded for it, you’re given a raise, you’re promoted for it.
“And that’s why the best solution, if you’re talking about shutting down the labs, putting the animal experimenters out of a job, shutting down these puppy mills, is cutting the money. Because they’re all subsidized by taxpayers and couldn’t possibly exist. And whether you’re center, right, or left on the political spectrum, this is just the practical reality of this business, of this $20-billion-plus a year business. It is propped up by taxpayers and if you remove those subsidies, it is going to collapse.”
This conversation comes on the heels of an announcement from Dr. Jay Bhattacharrya, Director of the National Institutes of Health, that the last beagle testing lab was shut down. Glenn Greenwald notes that beagles are the sadistic choice for animal experimentation because of their docile nature. Goodman discusses how NIH-funded puppy mills were aimed at supplying beagles for laboratory experiments expressly for Fauci and his NIH-funded heinous experiments on animals. Fauci and his NIH exalted some of the most malevolent science and scientists imaginable.
White Coat Waste revealed in a years-long investigation that the NIH killed over 2,100 beagles in “brutal septic shock experiments” that dated back to 1986. The report says, “The NIH pumps pneumonia-causing bacteria into beagles’ lungs, bleeds them out, and forces dogs into septic shock… After four days of infection, NIH kills the beagles—and stuffs their bodies into a refrigerator.”
White Coat Waste founder Anthony Belotti issued this public statement:
“As the watchdog that first uncovered and battled Dr. Fauci’s beagle tests (the biggest animal testing scandal in history), we’re proud that White Coat Waste has closed the NIH’s last in-house beagle laboratory—and the U.S. government’s biggest dog lab. We applaud the President for cutting this wasteful NIH spending and will keep fighting until we defund all dog labs at home and abroad.”
PETA Director of Science Advancement and Outreach Dr. Emily Trunell fell short of celebrating the Trump administration’s move, instead taking as much of the credit for themselves in this statement:
“After more than a decade of agitation, tens of thousands of emails to NIH officials from PETA supporters, and a 2021 landmark lawsuit, PETA welcomes the long-overdue news that NIH is canceling at least one of the appalling sepsis experiments that inflicted prolonged suffering on animals in federal and federally funded laboratories. Since 2013, PETA has argued for the complete termination of these cruel and scientifically worthless experiments on ALL animals—and we will continue to fight until every last one is ended. It is also critical to underscore that the beagles tormented and killed in these now-terminated painful experiments were purchased from Envigo. This notorious facility was shut down after PETA’s undercover investigation exposed the nightmarish conditions in which thousands of dogs were warehoused. PETA’s investigation led to the historic rescue of 4,000 dogs.”
We would like to offer a “Thank You” to Mr. Greenwald for bringing this story forward as well as thanks to White Coat Waste for their role in shutting down these awful experiments. Now, before you walk away with the belief that Glenn Greenwald is some brainwashed MAGA supporter, just watch the rest of that episode in which he once again eviscerates the Trump administration for some of the most severe and bizarre anti-speech tactics in favor of Israel.
Bringing It On Home
This Trump administration victory is not just a victory for liberals, it was a victory for humanity. There is work still to be done. However, there are still taxpayer-funded animal experimentation taking place in non-government labs.
There may be a place to meet in the middle regarding animal testing for the benefit of humankind, but some of the work being done by Fauci and his organization was simply monstrous. In one report, White Coat Waste revealed that Fauci’s division of the NIH “shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive.” Do not even bother trying to make the case that such experimentation is for the benefit of humankind. This is psychotic. This is Fauci’s NIH.
As The Left continues to convince themselves that everything even loosely tied to the Trump administration is evil, how are they going to respond when they realize that it was his administration that ended the torture of PUPPIES AND KITTENS. Biden could have. Hell, Obama could have. They did not do it. It was Trump.
There are so many stories that are damning to the practices that Dr. Fauci facilitated. We here at Meet Me In The Middle recognize that the American public is pretty divided on whether Fauci is a hero or a villain. Most did not know much about the man before the pandemic afforded him the spotlight. Regardless of your take on the pandemic and Fauci’s role in exacerbating the COVID-19 death rate and his contributions to harming Americans (the mental development of youngsters as well as a decline in mental health across the board, for starters), surely we can all agree that taxpayers should not be funding the meaningless torture of animals and cannibalism experiments. Can’t we?
Are you at all open to the possibility that Dr. Fauci might actually be a villain? If this story does not open your mind to that possibility, what would it actually take?
Are you at all open to the possibility that you, your family, the people of your community, the citizens of your nation, and the entire world might have been part of a Fauci experiment on humans? After all, the tens of millions of injections of the COVID-19 “vaccine” products would not have found their way into the bloodstreams of so many people if not for his consistent and incessant cheerleading for the jab.
It is worth considering…
